A New Spin On Oscar Wilde's Classic!
The Southwark Playhouse Borough will be hosting the new production of Dorian: The Musical' this coming summer, from July 4th to August 10th. Directed by Linnie Reedman and with music by Joe Evans, the story is a modern take on the Oscar Wilde classic and follows a young rock musician as his dark secrets start to appear after gaining overnight fame.
The musical was originally penned to be performed in 2020, however with COVID disrupting theatres, the production instead went straight to streaming online. Starring Alfie Friedman (The Undeclared War, The Witches of Eastwick) as Dorian himself, the rest of the casting is yet to be announced.
