For the better part of three decades, Michael Parkinson and his eponymous chat show provided audiences with insight into the lives of public figures. Interrogating everyone from Orson Welles to Mohammed Ali in his trade mark frank and witty style, he cemented himself as world class interviewer who's legacy continues to this day.
