Two British favourites are joining the long-running hit musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie this march! Katy Brand and Rufus hound will join the West End show as Miss Hedge and Hugo/ Loco Chanelle respectively, replacing Preeya Kalidas and Bianca Del Rio.
Brand, who is best known for shows like Katy Brand's Big Ass Show, Peep Show and News Quiz will play a limited run from the 3rd of March to the 20th of June. Hound, known for ITV's Celebrity Juice as well as the RSC's Don Quixote and One Man Two Guvnor's, will play from the 16th of March to the 30th of May.
They join a cast made up of Noah Thomas as Jamie, Melissa Jaques as Margaret, Sejal Keshwala as Ray, Hib Elchikhe as Pritti Pasha, David O'Reilly as Laika Virgin, Marlon G. Day as Jamie's Dad, James Gillan as Tray Sophisticay, Leon Craig as Sandra Bollock, Jordan Ricketts as Dean Paxton and Courtney Bowman as Fatima.
Growing up on a Sheffield Council Estate isn't plain sailing for teenage Jamie. Out of touch with his peers yet always ready with a comeback for his bullies, he's just not sure what the future holds. Supported by his wonderful mum and his tight-knit group of pals, he sets out to confront his fate head-on and become the star he was always meant to be.
Everybody's Talking About Jamie is now playing at the Apollo Theatre.
