Cats Is Prowling Back Into The Spotlight!
Because Jellicles can - and Jellicles do - go on tour!
Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats is leaping back onto the stage next summer with a brand-new revival at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre - before hitting the road for a major UK tour.
Directed and choreographed by Drew McOnie, London audiences will catch it first at Regent's Park from 25 July to 12 September 2026 before the cats take their dance beyond the capital in 2026.

Tour dates are yet to be determined.
About CATS: The Jellice Ball

And just what does Lloyd Webber think of this reworking of his famous feline work? In a statement after seeing the show, he gushed: "I have rarely seen an audience respond with as much joy and love as I saw recently at Cats: 'The Jellicle Ball. The atmosphere was, quite simply, electric Cats and Ballroom culture both emerged in the same era and I am delighted that, all these years later, they are intersecting once again. I want to congratulate the entire team behind this special show!"

Based on T.S. Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, the legendary musical first premiered in London's West End in 1981 and on Broadway in 1982, pouncing into the record books as one of the longest-running shows in both cities. It follows the Jellicle Cats as they gather for the Jellicle Ball, where one cat will be chosen to ascend to the Heaviside Layer and be reborn.
