Type B personalities are in for a star-studded treat! Once White Rabbit, Red Rabbit comes to the Duchess Theatre, something unusual begins. Every night, a well-known actor walks on the stage, opens a script they've never seen before, and the show begins....
No rehearsals. No director shaping the performance. No set design doing half the storytelling for you. Just an audience watching to see how it all unfolds!
The Cast Of White Rabbit, Red Rabbit
Over the run, you've got appearances from David Harewood, David Tennant, Jo Joyner, Jodie Whittaker, and Luke Thompson, with more names still to come. Other confirmed nights include Asim Chaudhry, Kathryn Hunter, Kunal Nayyar, Archie Madekwe, and Riz Ahmed, with even more to be announced. Aren't we a lucky bunch?
The play itself was written by Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour back in 2010, at a time when he couldn't leave Iran because he refused mandatory military service. Instead of travelling with his work, he sent it out into the world on his behalf. It ended up being performed everywhere, in multiple languages, long before he ever got to see it himself.
