Bless my soul! Disney's mythological musical adaptation announces a final extension and closing date
After a year of electrifying the West End, Disney has announced a final extension for Hercules, followed by a closing date of September 5th, 2026.
A retelling of the famous Greek myth, adapted from the 1997 animated movie Hercules, the show followed Disney's Frozen into the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, opening in June 2025. With a cast led by Grammy nominee Luke Brady as Hercules, Mae Ann Jorolan as Meg, the wonderful Trevor Dion Nicholas as Phil, and Stephen Carlile as Hades, the show boasts a score by legendary Disney composer Alan Menken, direction and choreography by Casey Nicolaw, and a new book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah.
With nearly six months of performances left, there's plenty of time to enjoy Herc's story before he heads back to Mount Olympus!
