Catherine Tate To Star In Oh, Mary!
Are we bovvered? Yes, yes, we are.
Who, dear? Me, dear? Catherine, dear! Cole Escola's chaotic Broadway hit Oh, Mary! has extended its London run.
It has also announced that the queen of UK comedy, Catherine Tate, will take over the titular role this spring as the gloriously unhinged Mary Todd Lincoln.
Mason Alexander Park's final performance is set for 25 April, with Tate stepping into the role from 27 April.

About Catherine Tate
Tate has spent the past two decades becoming a household name, mostly thanks to The Catherine Tate Show, which gave us iconic characters like Lauren Cooper and Nan. She is also noted for her role as Donna Noble in Doctor Who and is just as at home on stage, with theatre credits that range from Shakespeare to contemporary comedy.
About Oh, Mary!
Wildly and proudly inaccurate, Oh, Mary! takes the drama in period drama and amps it up to a level of boozy brilliance. Written by and originally starring Cole Escola, the show reimagines Mary Todd Lincoln as a bored, alcoholic housewife who longs for a life in cabaret - constantly hindered by her closeted husband, who also happens to be President of the United States. The perfect role for Tate.
