This Olivier Award-winning production returns with Emmy-winner Tan France (Queer Eye) attached as Producer. Directed by Anthony Simpson-Pike, with original cast members Esh Alladi (Bridgerton) and Waleed Akhtar (The Great) returning, The P Word is a heartfelt story that follows two gay men who cross paths through chance connections and, most importantly, the shared reality of a hostile immigration system.
Zafar arrives in the UK after fleeing homophobic persecution in Pakistan, hoping for safety and a fresh start. In London, Bilal - who prefers to go by "Billy" - is tired of the cycle of dating apps, fleeting encounters, and the emotional weight of navigating life as a brown gay man in a country that often feels complicated to move through. At first, they seem to exist in separate worlds. But slowly, their lives begin to intersect in what may be the most touching modern love story yet.
