Why see Jeeves Takes Charge?
Pip Pip!
Forty-five years after it was originally championed in the West End by Barbara Dickson, Bernard Theobald, Cameron Mackintosh, and Andrew Lloyd Webber, the Olivier Award-winning Jeeves Takes Charge returns to London for a strictly limited run at Charing Cross Theatre to give audiences a glimpse into the eccentric world of P. G. Wodehouse.
When Bertie Wooster finds himself tangled in yet another social disaster of his own making, who does he turn to? Why, his trusty valet Jeeves, of course!
What Is The Story?
Set in P. G. Wodehouse’s wonderfully absurd world of grand country houses, formidable aunts, failed engagements, and upper-class panic, Jeeves Takes Charge follows the well-meaning but hopeless Bertie Wooster as his ever-resourceful valet Jeeves works tirelessly to rescue him from one catastrophe and unwanted marriage after another.
