Much as the name suggests, the award-winning writer/star Not Going Out and regular panelist on Would I Lie To You? Lee Mack is heading back around the UK, with his first live tour in four years, supported by fellow comic Mike Gunn.
Having started out as a bingo caller, a stable boy (he even rode Red Rum, on his first ever horseback ride) and a brief stint at Pontins, he participated in his first open mic night whilst studying film and television at Brunel University. After that, well, Mack's never looked back!
Fans can anticipate his trademark brand of high energy banter, acidic observations and sharp one-liners, which he attributes to being diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in 2012. He's been likened to Eric Morecombe, if the latter were faced with the complexities of modern life, with his material at home both now and in the Seventies. He can be crass, make you groan even, but his infectious silliness has earned him a nationwide following that many can only dream of.
