Maureen Lipman makes a deliciously wicked debut!

Richmond Theatre once again plays host to pantomime season with a sparkling production of Sleeping Beauty, which will do anything but send you and the kids off into a snooze! Starring legendary actress Maureen Lipman as the Wicked Fairy Queen and CBeebies presenter Chris Jarvis as Prince Charming, this star-studded Christmas extravaganza is filled to the brim with music, dazzling costumes, oodles of humour and of course, audience participation! Arguably one of the most-well known fairytales of all time, the tale of a young princess doomed to sleep for a hundred years has seen many incarnations, including a Disney movie (and more recently a second, focusing on the witch), and remains a pantomime staple for over fifty years. Previous guest stars at Richmond pantomimes include Hayley Mills, Matthew Rixon, Jerry Hall, Suzanne Shaw and Henry Winkler.
