The Small Things Theatre Company and founder/resident up and coming English playwright Cordelia O'Neil present the deeply moving Anything Is Possible If You Think About It Hard Enough. Playing at the Southwark Playhouse for a strictly limited one month run this Spring, the brand new work explores the heartbreaking grief of losing a baby with tenderness and empathy.
The highly anticipated two-hander stars stage and screen actor Huw Parmenter, last seen in the acclaimed UK tour of The Lovely Bones, and rising star Gemma Lawrence (Nine, Luther), as Rupert and Alex, an 'opposites attract' type of couple who meet by chance on the Tube. Following their story from their honeymoon phase to the trauma of losing a child at birth, Anything Is Possible is a poignant journey, gently moving from the depths of despair to hopeful climes in the face of the unimaginable.
Anything Is Possible is backed by the stillbirth and neonatal charity SANDS, baby loss counseling service Petals, Professor Alexander Heazell (director of Tommy's Rainbow Clinic at St Mary's Hospital Manchester), midwives from Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and bereaved parents.
