Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch

Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch at The Other Palace

Why see Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch?

poor unfortunate souls

In every argument, both parties deserve to tell their side of the story; we're all human, after all. Or at least... half-Octopus, half-human...? Straight from hugely revered sold-out stints at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and elsewhere comes Unfortunate, the parody musical giving the Little Mermaid's antagonistic underwater witch, Ursula, the chance to tell the juicy gossip behind what actually went on beneath those ocean waves way back when!

The larger than life LGBTQ+ icon shares the inside scoop in this brilliant production directed by Robyn Grant, just as her Disney-villain peers Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty) and Cruella De Vil (101 Dalmations) got to give their two-cents their own recent movies. With book and lyrics by Grant and Daniel Foxx, music by Tim Gilvin and choreography by Melody Sinclair, don't miss this saucy, scandalous musical tell-all!
