The battle of literatures greatest romantics
After an award-winning run at the Edinburgh Fringe and making its debut in New York, World's Greatest Lover arrives in London at The Other Palace! The pop-rock musical which pits together four of history's most famous romantic figures - Romeo, Casanova, Cyrano and the Marquis de Sade - features performances from Matt Terry and Dalton Harris, both former The X Factor champions, alongside Union J's Jaymi Hensley, Leonardo Vieira (Bat out of Hell), Joaquin Pedro Valdes (17:28) and Alex Hayden (The Book of Mormon). Choreography is by the Emmy winning Joshua Bergasse (Smash), with score by Eurovision song contest finalists Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal and Julien Salvia.
Four of literature's most notorious romantics, Romeo, Cyrano de Bergerac, Casanova and the Marquis de Sade gather together to contest their reputations as the world's greatest lover, and define what love truly means. A clash of egos for the ages, this pop musical is a gloriously fun ride through the stars' romantic reputations!
