Beth Steel's Olivier nominated play comes to the West End!
The Olivier Award-nominated National Theatre production by Beth Steel lands in the West End this Summer! Directed by Bijan Sheibani (Barber Shop Chronicles), Till The Stars Come Down tells the story of a chaotic family over the course of a wedding. It premiered to rave reviews at the Dorfman Theatre and now comes to the Theatre Royal Haymarket.
At a family wedding in Mansfield, things are about to get messy. As bride-to-be Sylvia prepares for her big moment, tensions with mum Hazel and sister Maggie start to boil over. Unexpected guests bring up difficult memories, as what should be the happiest day of Sylvia's life threatens to come apart at the seams. Utilising gleefully sharp humour to delve into heartbreak and lost love, don't miss your invitation to the wedding of the year!
Please note
This production features loud noises, flash pyrotechnics, strobe effects, haze, strong language, themes of racism and xenophobia, reference to suicide, scenes of a sexual nature and depictions of mild violence.
