Emerging Scottish-born, London-based playwright Sarah Rutherford returns to the West End with her latest work The Girl Who Fell, a powerful mediation on grief and guilt in the social media age. Darkly comic and deeply insightful, it follows rave reviews from its previous runs and now enjoys a strictly limited engagement at Trafalgar Square Studios this Autumn. 

As fiercely funny as it is tender and sorrowful, the story follows a chaplain and mother named Thea, whose life is thrown into turmoil following the suicide of her beloved teenage daughter Sam. Haunted by a regretful incident between herself and Sam, as well as the aftermath of snap chat scandal that embroiled the youngster, Thea takes a journey of the soul to try to understand what Sam went through and find her own inner peace.
