Untitled f*ck m*ss s**gon play at Young Vic

Why see Untitled f*ck m*ss s**gon play?

Our pick for this autumn

Bursting on the Young Vic Stage this autumn, Kimber Lee's excellent play examines a hundred years of Western-created Asian stereotypes from the inside out, as one young woman attempts to tear them down, once and for all. Winner of the inaugural Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting 2019, International Award, the production is directed by Roy Alexander Weise.

What is the story?

After finding herself trapped in the worst day imaginable, Kim realises she is caught up in an ever-worsening series of events and must break her way out of this narrative and find out who is responsible for her story. When she is free she decides it's time to go back in and dismantle 100 years of Asian stereotypes - and destroy them, once and for all.
