MAGNIFICENT! A SPECTACULAR TREAT!

This is truly a show you do not want to miss! From the outset, the cast do an amazing job of capturing the character’s mannerisms. The sets are wonderful, the effects are stunning, and the songs, both familiar and new are great. It helps to know the story, you may not fully understand the plot if you don’t, having said that, this is a sight for all to enjoy. There was one unexpected feature - the comedy. Sprinkled throughout the play, little nuggets of comedy gold. Wonderful. For any Back To The Future fan, do not miss this piece of spectacular theatre. I left wanting to watch it all again. Just stunning.

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT AGAIN

I originally booked to see the show in Manchester. 2 days before I was due to see it covid stopped me! I have just seen it and it was well worth the wait. It was fantastic!!! I have seen many shows but this was the best. The characters of marty and doc were fabulous but George McCoy was outstanding! I don't know what the critics were talking about I wouldn't change any of it! I hope it runs for a long time because I need to see it again. I cried, I laughed, I was astounded at what they could do on stage with the car! If you like the movie you will love this. Thank you for a fabulous night of pure fun and entertainment

BACK TO THE FUTURE THE MUSICAL

04/16/2022 Hello, I'm Jean-Pierre "JP" Maurey-Delaunay and this is my review of my new West End show: Back To The Future. Based on the iconic 1985 film, Back To The Future: The Musical, arrives in London for audiences to experience the classic on stage. Now I have alot to talk about so stay tuned, first the performances: 1. Olly Dobson was fantastic as Marty I was blown away by his voice, he reminds me of Aladdin because he is always getting into scrapes and finding friends, I thought he sounded a lot like Micheal J. Fox only slightly lower. 2. Roger Bart raises the roof as Doc Brown, his talent and energy that he brought to the character was second to none, he reminds me of Genie and Timon (hint: Roger was the singing voice for Disney's 1997 classic: Hercules, that's the only project I know of him) because he is very funny and energetic and just keeps the audience laughing throughout the whole show 3. Shane O'Riordan nails it as the show's villain, Biff Tannen, I felt like he looks alot like Thomas F. Wilson from the film although, the show's Biff was less muscular, but he was an amazing singer, he reminds an awful lot like Gaston from Beauty And The Beast because he is told no by the one thing he wants which is Lorraine, so I really saw some similarities between the two. The songs: 1. Teach Him A Lesson sung by Biff and his gang, I thought that was a full on villain song because it really shows his hatred towards Marty and what was really funny was that he got some phrases wrong such as: "Heads He (Marty) wins and tales I Lose!" and "A man he won't regret". 2. It Works sung by Doc Brown, it was a brilliant song Roger Bart sung it really well, he had really amazing dance moves at the start of the song and I liked the part Marty says "who are the girls?", To which Doc responds "I don't know, they just show up everytime I start singing!". 3. Something About That Boy sung by Lorraine and Biff, this song to me was like a step-into-Disney universe because it has a classic chase scene only in this chase it is set in the school and Biff is not covered in manure but spaghetti and Marty uses a Star Wars reference that hints he is from the 80s (much to Biff's confusion). 4. 21st Century sung by Doc Brown, this song reminded me of music of Wreck It Ralph because of it's electronic sounds and drums, which I thought were good, also at one point in the song there two things that I noticed hint to Back To The Future Part II and Part III. The setting: 1. I thought the way the clocktower moved was great when it switched to the Delorean taking center stage. 2. The Hill Valley High School was brilliant when it moved around on a circle to show we've gone to a different location of the school. The Delorean was to die for it was brilliantly designed and when Marty goes back in time there is some animation on the curtain and back to show the movement of the car, and I loved how it flew over the audience I mean how does it do that?! Come and see Back To The Future The Musical you'll have a great night!. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

CLASSIC 80S

29/05/2022 I attended Back to the future musical at the Adelphi theatre , I had trepidation concerning the interpretation. The lead role actor had all Marty Mcflys nuances mixed with his own personality, but for me the show came alive when Marty Mcflys dad entered the musical . His portrayal boarded on mesmeric, his timing his poise and sheer brilliance brought the show to life . The sets may be basic yet easily suited the style of the show , the smooth change from scene to seen smacked of true professionalism. There were even a few references to other films Lucas had a hand in ie star wars. As for the Delorian stunning effects used specially at the finale when it flies into the audience. There are plenty of comical moments to keep it light hearted . We'll worth a visit .

BACK TO THE FUTURE THE HIT MUSICAL

05/23/2022 Hello, I'm Jean-Pierre "JP" Maurey-Delaunay and this is my review of my new West End show: Back To The Future. Based on the 1985 film, Back To The Future: The Musical, arrives in London for audiences to experience the classic on stage. There's alot you'd expect from this show, like the classic George-Punch-Biff scene and the timeless icon: The Delorean I wasn't expecting alot of applause from an audience!. Now I have alot to talk about so stay tuned, first the performances: 1. Will Haswell was fantastic as Marty I thought his performance was indescribable, he looks to me like a young Han Solo. 2. Roger Bart raises the roof as Doc Brown, his talent and energy that he brought to the character was second to none, I love the part where he says "who's vice president, Daffy Duck?". 3. Aidan Cutler nails it as the show's villain, Biff Tannen, I felt like he looks alot like Thomas F. Wilson from the film, he was an amazing singer. The songs: 1. Teach Him A Lesson sung by Biff and his gang (only 3D and Slick, Match doesn't appear in the show), I thought that was a full on villain song because it really shows his hatred towards Marty and what was really funny was that he got some phrases wrong such as: "Heads He (Marty) wins and tales I Lose!" and "A man he won't regret". 2. It Works sung by Doc Brown, it was a brilliant song Roger Bart sung it really well, he had really amazing dance moves at the start of the song and I liked the part Marty says "who are the girls?", To which Doc responds "I don't know, they just show up everytime I start singing!". 3. Of all the West End shows I've seen, I like this one more. Come and see Back To The Future The Musical you'll have a great night!. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
