2 HOURS OF MY LIFE WASTED

We went last night, family group of 6, we have been to other immersive theatre events and on the whole have enjoyed them, this we did not. Its a complete shambles, chaotic, unstructured, confusing, sometimes childish, with a storyline that doesnt make sense. Throw in some unfunny attempts at humour, repetitive monologue, blurry video clips and characters who you have no idea who they are meant to be and you get this mish-mash of an experience which only leaves you looking for the exit door/gift shop and an escape. We couldnt stand it any more, we asked to leave early, my sincere thanks to the security guard permitting us freedom from a night where my wife later felt she had to apologise to us all for booking it. If you are thinking of booking this, dont, you've been warned, as we left the security guard reminded us that we shouldnt leave yet as we hadnt saved the galaxy, so finally I apologise if any parts of the galaxy were destroyed by our hurried exit.

ONE STAR IS TOO GOOD FOR THIS RUBBISH

Dreadful. Really, really bad am-dram rubbish. This is a noisy, badly planned, badly executed mish-mash of old ideas, with lots of poor actors shouting their heads off at the same time. there is no plot, no thrills, no excitement, no shape; the 'volunteer' ambles around a cacaphonous set of basements for no reason, then stands in a crap bar for half an hour, then a disappointing ending where nothing happens A complete waste of time.

AWFUL AND WASTE OF MONEY EXPERIENCE

I was really looking forward to this, but I came away feeling relieved it was over. I think some people get a better experience than others. I never saw a cyber man or a weeping Angel like some reviewers mention. I got a glimpse of a dalek! The whole thing was badly coordinated with actors not in control of groups, no direction of what to do or where to go next. At one point I was left standing still not knowing where to go. I joined a group but had no idea what was going on. The interval wasn’t indicated and I didn’t even know it was the interval I just thought it was a room to wait in. I got asked to wait until told to leave this area and by the time I got asked to move on my little group were the last to leave and we totally missed half of the end scene. Personally I had no immersive interaction and had no idea what was going on most of the time. It just consisted of actors shouting at each other and it was hit or miss when you got put somewhere that was useful to the storyline - which I totally lost a quarter of the way in. Personally for me it was a very unpleasant waste of time and money - not exciting or something I can recommend.

AN ABSOLUTE YAWN A MINUTE

Ok let’s start with the positives; The settings are great as are the costumes. The attempts at audience participation were a dismal failure. Some of the crew should be commended for their acting but most are never going to hold an Oscar. The bar , during the interval, offered a meagre choice. No whiskey ,for example . After that came the finale. Far far too long and tear jerkingly boring. I would rather rub broken glass into my eyeballs than endure that again. There are thousands of better and more fun ways to spend that much money They really need to find a way of making it more participative and not through idiotic comments
