Why See Cinderella?
YOU SHALL GO TO THE BALL
The Lyric Panto is back for 2023 and this time we're heading back to the ball with the ever-popular Cinderella, written by composer and comedian Vikki Stone and directed by Tonderai Munyevu! One of the capital's most sought-after Pantomimes, the Lyric's hilarious and unforgettable magic will once more leave audiences of all ages smiling and singing and, most importantly, ready for Christmas. Just don't forget your glass slipper!
The Story of Lyric's Cinderella
A cheeky London re-imagining of Cinderella, in this version Cinderella is a market-stall owner in Shepherds Bush! When Prince Henry decides to go undercover for a trip to the market, he's instantly infatuated with the titular girlboss. After being rumbled by the paparazzi he has to get on his high horse and scram, but, as you can expect in a Cinderella story, that is just the start of their journey, with step-siblings and a step-mother intent on hindering these two love birds!
In true British pantomime style, expect a hilarious and raucous show complete with songs, outrageous costumes, a dame or two and of course, just a little bit of innuendo!
Opening night: 18 November 2023
