After three years with a broken arm, Dear Evan Hansen is to use its last ever arm-cast on the West End, October 2022. The Noel Coward Theatre has been Dear Evan Hansen's home since October 29, 2019.
The current cast will stay until the final performance which includes Olivier award-winning Sam Tutty, Doug Colling as Connor Murphy, Lucy Anderson as Zoe Murphy, Iona Fraser as Alana Beck, Marcus Harman as Evan at certain performances. Rebecca McKinnis as Heidi Hansen, Jack Loxton as Jared Kleinman, Rupert Young as Larry Murphy and Lauren Ward as Cynthia Murphy.
The Evan of our story is a high school misfit who is desperate for any form of recognition from his peers. When a traumatic event rocks the community Evan is thrust into its centre, finally getting what he's always wanted: a chance to fit in.
Smart, contemporary and timely, DEAR EVAN HANSEN is a touching and socially conscious exploration of the tumult of adolescence, and what just what we're willing to sacrifice to find our own place in the overwhelming noise of the modern world.
