With a trove of Tony Awards under their belts, here's your guide to the most extraordinary Broadway shows currently lighting up London's stages.

Stereophonic @ Duke Of Yorks Theatre

May 24th to September 20, 2025

Written by David Adjmi, with songs by Will Butler of Arcade Fire, this 5-time Tony award winner takes you on a wild ride through the day-to-day of five rock musicians making an album in the early 70s. The story itself is one of infighting, frustration, romance, and rock'n'roll (all the things you'd expect from a disagreeing 70's band). David Adjmi notes he drew inspiration from iconic band Fleetwood Mac and came up with the idea while listening to Led Zepplin and pondering "What would it have been like to be in the studio when this was being recorded?".

Good Night, Oscar @ Barbican Theatre

July 31 to September 21, 2025

As brilliant as he was troubled, Oscar Levant's genius has become the stuff of legend, despite the fact it was also his downfall. After winning critical and audience acclaim during its Chicago premiere and its recent Broadway run, this new play by Doug Wright comes to London's Barbican in the summer of 2025. Sean Hayes (Will and Grace) retains the role of the titular Oscar, (in a performance the Chicago Tribune called a "revelation") embodying the mordant comedian, actor, pianist, and wildcard as he makes an unforgettable appearance on Jack Paar's Tonight Show in 1958.
