Samuel Becket and Harold Pinter discuss the joy of cricket in this delightful new play
As the summer fixtures get underway on pitches across the country, the Hampstead Theatre starts a match of its own as Stephen Tompkinson and Andrew Lancel step up to bat in this delightful imagining of the friendship between cricket enthusiasts (and internationally renowned playwrights) Samuel Beckett and Harold Pinter.
Written by Shomit Dutta, author, professor of Latin and Greek, and former captain of Harold Pinter's Gaieties CC, Stumped sees the two in conversation, sharing insights about their relationship, inspirations, careers, and their shared deep joy in the game of cricket.
