The Authenticator is a brand new play by award-winning playwright Winsome Pinnock (Leave Taking; The Winds of Change), landing at the National Theatre as part of the new season! Directed by Death of a Salesman's Miranda Cromwell, the production serves as a reunion between the two following on from their work together on 2018's Rockets and Blue Lights, which the Evening Standard hailed as 'urgent and important'. Starring BAFTA winning actor Rakie Ayola (Anthony; The Pact; Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), Sylvestra Le Touzel (The Crown) and Cherrelle Skeete (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) don't miss out on tickets!
The artist Fenella Harford recently inherited the family stately home. When she discovers a treasure trove of secret diaries, she asks Marva, an academic, to help confirm whether or not they are genuine. But when Fenella, Marva, and Marva's tutor Abi dig deeper, they discover that the house's history is much bleaker than they could have thought.
Please note: The producers can't guarantee the appearance of any performers on any specific date.
