DEF NOT SIXTH SENSE!

The premise was ok but unlike the 6th sense (which in look back is very plausible) this was a very ordinary performance where I'm wondering "what is the point". At no time in the play could you state that he wasn't actually there ( unlike the 6th sense) so the ending had no point at all except they all left the stage. As a committed theatre goer since seeing Michael Crawford in Phantom in the 80's to today this was the most disappointed I have been after a west end stage production.

DULL, BORING AND OVERRATED

I went to see this and booked front row seats which were a tad blocked but you could see the stage. The first half was so boring I considered leaving. The acting was just shouting. Sophia (90210) wasn’t In it again and apparently has called in sick the majority of shows. The understudy was annoying. Ricky (funny bf) was fantastic. Husband was annoying and the lead lady has been great in other things but constantly shouted. All in all it gave me year 6 school play. The ending for may made no sense and was dull. Others have seen it with a different cast and loved it but I came out and thought I’d wasted my time. The worst thing I’ve seen in west end

SHOCKINGLY AWFUL

I went to see 2:22 a ghost story at the Apollo theatre and was so disappointed by the performance. Awful script and story line. So expensive for such an awful production . How can you charge so much money for such poor quality theatre. I saved up to go to theatre and drove many hours into London for my birthday. I gave it a good 20 mins and then really couldn’t take any more . The manager apologised and offered a refund . When I emailed the producer they refused refund. Careful to read reviews before you book your show here. I won’t be going to Apollo theatre again .Avoid no refunds given !!! Giving theatre a bad name! Shocking experience !!!!

LOAD OF RUBBISH

Never in my life have we sat in a theatre and watched the biggest load of rubbish ever if I could get our money back we would wouldn’t recommend anyone to go and the language was disgusting

JUST AWFUL

Just seen this production in Brighton. Awful. First half consisted of lots of shouting, garbled, overlapping dialogue. The actors rattled through the script and not sure if they were just bad or embarrassed about the poor writing. The characters swung from highs to lows at an alarming pace and I didn’t buy into any of them. The story didn’t make sense and the lurch from “deep” chats to screaming arguments was jarring. Second half no better and involved one character getting increasingly drunk, more shouty arguments and an appalling, eye rolling “twist”. One of the worst things I’ve seen in 40 years of theatre going.

UNBELIEVABLY AWFUL

Where do I start ? Should have been called 9.99 because that’s the emergency service no i needed to rescue me from this awfully acted dribble . I’ve read people were scared and it made them jump. Actually I jumped twice, once to get to the bar in the interval as I needed a drink and I jumped at the end to get out of the theatre

TOTAL PANTS

I was hoping for a decent jump scare, ghost-tale of a play but this was just a total let down. After all the hype with all the fancy advertising, I was very much looking forward to this, as an after work treat. Well.... How wrong was I!! This was more of a comedy than anything else. There was this one guy actor who I had no patience for. All he did was shout and he was super annoying. This was a play more about him I felt. As for the others, It was still all about them but just a bit more calmer and not as irate. I feel this play was a story about their lives rather than about the ghost itself. If there was a 0 then I would score it that. All people did was laugh throughout. There was no real build up or suspense. And the ending was a total waste of time because it just ended suddenly, leaving me feeling completely dead inside. There was no suspense in the 1st half and still nothing in the 2nd. I should have left in the interval but I was expecting it all to show up in the 2nd half.
