NOT SCARY

Expected to be spooked, at least a bit, but wasn't. Had a good twist at the end though. Couldn't see the point of flash points in the play but it did make everyone pay attention! The character Jenny rather overacted but the others were fine. Good central seats in small theatre, but for entertainment, I have seen better for the money!

DISAPPOINTING

Sadly, this play is utterly disappointing. The story line is disjointed and cringe worthy! Imaging being invited to dinner and watching the host couple argue through the visit, this is the key premise of the play. The screaming sound effect, red light and techno music are misplaced and nave not context in relation to the play. The play is over acted and amateurish, there are some funny jokes and remarks but even those are somewhat cringe worthy. We could not bear sitting through the entire play so we left sad and disappointed during the intermission.

DISAPPOINTING

I found nothing remotely spooky scary or to be complimented on. I have no desire to rubbish individuals but a lot of shrieking just doesnt make it a good watch. Story line thin and predictable. Glad when it was over. Could be a lot more specific about individuals acting but choose not to.

SO DISAPPOINTED

I was so excited about seeing this play, but unfortunately found it the to be very disappointing. Amateur performances, over acted, Lilly Allen appeared to shout all her lines, making it uncomfortable to watch the frequent screaming sound effects and lights unnecessary ruining any atmosphere or build up, it was just annoying. The only good performance was from Jake Wood. There was no chemistry between the actors no gelling so characters unbelievable or relatable and very poor story line. Such a shame could have been fantastic.

FELL A BIT FLAT

Unlikeable characters, with little depth, flung into what felt like a sitcom. Cop-out ending. The script gave no-one the humanity or time to set the stage for fear. Most great ghost stories are grounded in loss, not here, except for your wallet. Allen was the best of the bunch and I think with the right play, she will be awesome.

DISAPPOINTED

I am very sad to say I found this quite slow and not at all spooky, chilling or entertaining. I really wanted to love it. Maybe just not for me as a see some people have raved about it.

DISAPOINTED

I've seen a few ghost stories, but I really struggled to find anything ghostly about this play. The cast were good especially Jake Wood. The random screams just didn't tie in with the story unless they were there for the scare factor but for me it didn't do anything.Sorry but it lacked alot for me, it's a real shame.
