A COP OUT

Went perhaps expecting too much , agree some dialogue difficult to hear - didn’t really matter tho , irrelevant screams , red light , dunno why . Conclusion was cop out. Never got going for me didn’t really care about the characters. Save your money .

2:22 - THE MINUTES I WISH IT LASTED

I am still reeling about the money and time I wasted on this awful show. Do not be fooled by any review that gives it more than one star, it was, by far, the worse production I have ever seen. I tried to think of one positive aspect of the night and I couldn't. Everything about it this play was amateurish. The script was painfully basic and incredibly boring. The actors must have thought the same, since they delivered their lines with alarming speed, that they must have wanted the thing to end as quickly as I did. The acting was wooden and fulfilled every stereotypical behaviour for each character being portrayed. For example, Lilly Allen scratches her neck and rubs her arm to indicate her character is anxious and uncomfortable. There was nothing subtle about her movements or expression. Indeed, the entire cast spoon-fed their characters to the audience, as though we had forgotten the nuances of performance. In truth, it was utter ess-aitch-eye-tee

ONE DIMENSIONAL DRAMA

A bit basic. Felt like a dress rehearsal for a GCSE drama module. Lily Allen seemed like she was doing an impersonation of an actor, way too much pacing around and frantic hand wringing. Julia and Jake were both quite good and offered some texture to their characters . Mostly it felt unimaginative and a bit cheap. Ending is a cop-out.

WORST PLAY THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN

Had no idea that Lilly Allen is in the play, but thinking it might be interesting to watch supernatural scened play. And it was a waste of money for sure. The storyline is way too basic and simply treat audience as fool, feels like just read a very cheap novel..... and the story is not logical at all. Also those extremely annoying sound effects, seriously? that's not even necessary. An extremely disappointed play.

Before I went to see this I could not find any poor reviews.somone marketed this well .I fell asleep after 20 minutes woke up to noise and and flashing at the interval I stayed in case there was a point to the story but there isn’t . Cannot really say wether the acting is good just four people talking to each other for what seemed like hours . Waste of money

WORST WRITING I'VE EVER SEEN PERFORMED

I was really looking forward to seeing this, being a fan of ghost stories and all things eerie. Within 15 minutes you could tell this play was not going to deliver the chills it was promising. To be fair to the actors, they couldn't really polish the turd that this script is. It really is an am-dram level piece of writing, and that's being generous. The characters are unbelievable and there is no chemistry between the couples, which makes it difficult to actually enjoy the story, as you can't suspend disbelief and get into it. The ending is so badly thought out, I guess Danny just got bored and thought 'that'll do'. It is completely nonsensical. It's borderline insulting when you weigh up the ticket cost vs quality level of this play. The only paranormal thing about this is how it got to the stage in the first place, I feel sorry for the actors having to go through this pain night after night. They must be praying for Feb to come around!
