Returning to London for the first time since 2018, the Olivier-nominated folk opera Hadestown will be brightening up the West End in winter 2024. The brainchild of celebrated indie-folk singer-songwriter Anais Mitchell and Tony-nominated experimental theatre director Rachel Chavkin, who helmed smash-hit 'Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812', the musical fuses elements of Greek mythology with Mitchell's emotionally-charged concept album of the same name.

The enduring appeal of Live Aid will be tapped once more as this new Olivier-nominated jukebox musical transfers to to the Shaftesbury Theatre after a sell out run at the Old Vic. Just For One Day gives audiences a look behind the scenes of the auspicious event and features a soundtrack by Matt Brind that covers the day's biggest artists, including Queen, David Bowie, Elton John, U2, The Boomtown Rats, Diana Ross and many, many more. Written by John O'Farrel (Mrs Doutfire) and directed by Luke Sheppard (&Juliet) Just For One Day also contributes to the Band Aid Trust's mission, with 10% of every ticket sale going to their ongoing charitable work, both globally and here at home.
