Andy Nyman Joins Hello, Dolly! In London!

The musical heads to the Adelphi Theatre this Summer

Olivier Award winner Andy Nyman has joined the cast of the upcoming West End production of the late Jerry Herman's Hello, Dolly! Nyman was last seen in the West End in the critically acclaimed revival of Fiddler on the Roof where he starred as Tevye. 

Nyman will star as Horace Vandergelder, joining a cast made up of Imelda Staunton as Dolly Levi and Jenna Russell as Irene Molloy. 

With direction from Dominic Cooke Hello, Dolly! will feature the original music and lyrics of the great Jerry Herman who recently passed away. The production also features a book by Michael Stewart. 

What is Hello, Dolly! about?

In 1880's Yonkers a rich and cantankerous widower by the name of Horace Vandergelder is on the lookout for a wife. To help him on his quest he engages the services of professional matchmaker Dolly Gallagher Levi, but little does he know that Dolly has his perfect match in mind from their very first meeting - herself! Now all she has to do is make Horace realise it as well!
