Often referred to as the 'Fifth Beatle', music manager Brian Epstein first saw The Beatles performing at The Cavern Club in Liverpool. He instantly recognised their potential and was determined to bring them to the world. Taking them under his wing, he shaped their image, secured their record deals, and eventually turned them into a global phenomenon
But while The Beatles' success grew, Epstein faced personal challenges, balancing professional ambition with his private life in an era when being gay meant living in secrecy.
With a fresh perspective on the struggles behind the success of one of history's most influential yet often overlooked popular culture figures, Please Please Me is set to be essential viewing for Beatlemaniacs and non-Beatlemaniacs alike.
