Mia Carragher cast as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games
The Hunger Games Live On Stage!
In a brand new Instagram post by the Hunger Games: On Stage production, it has been announced that Mia Carragher will take on the iconic role of Katniss Everdeen. Take a look at the social post below!
In the above clip, Carragher states: "I'm really excited to play Katniss. I relate to her quite a lot. I think she's very fearless, but then she's also got that nurturing quality about her. Everyone needs to come and watch The Hunger Games: On Stage' because it's going to be nothing like you've ever seen."
The Hunger Games: On Stage has already generated a lot of hype due to its newly built, interactive stage. In a round formation, audience members will take their seat in one of the districts, with District 12 in the middle. The specially built all-purpose stage will show every aspect of Panem from the impoverished District 12, to the opulence of the Capitol, through to the action of the Games themselves.
