EXCELLENT SHOW

we went to see oliver on wednesday 18th, we had a terrific night, The show was simply amazing, rowan atkinson stole the show as fagin, but oliver and the atrfull dodger were, truly brilliant. Jodie prenger was not in it as it was her night off, but that did not spoil the show. I would recomend this to anyone and its suitable for the whole family, go and see it you will not be disapointed,

JUST GET A TICKET AND GO!

This was a 6 star show. Visually stunning, musically brilliant. Rowan Atkinson was a revelation. I wasn't sure how he would approach this. I have never viewed him as a singer. From his very first word the audience was captivated. Why hasn't he tackled a show like this before? I hope this will be the first of many. Jodie was superb, sang like an angel. Warm, passionate and dramatic. But the set! Wow! Every set change and adjustment of the lighting was effortless and brilliant and atmospheric. Oh, and the children were great too. You must see this show.

WHAT A PERFORMANCE !!

The best show I have seen !! This was a Christmas present & I loved it ........ Didn't really know how Rowan Atkinson would be playing Fagin as Ron Moody was brilliant, but he was very good & certainly had the audience laughing & cheering. Jodie was fantastic, so glad she got the part over Jessie as she suits the role much better. Harry was Oliver & what a voice singing 'Who will buy & Where is love' he & Laurence were my favs on the TV when picking the Olivers - as for Dodger we saw Ross & he was made for the role, very cheeky & funny ........ the little dot playing Nipper was brilliant & so very cute. As for Burn Gorman, he was very good - I remember seeing Joe Mcgann play the part last time Oliver was in London, he was great, but anyone has to go along way to match Oliver Reed. All the cast were fantastic, well done to all involved & long may it run at this wonderful theatre - a brilliant night out that all will enjoy ..... mustn't forget Bullseye either :o)
