FANTASTIC

Having booked tickets a long time ago I was really looking forward to this show and as you would appreciate was deeply disappointed on arrival to find that Rowan Atkinson had fallen ill the night before and his stand in was making his first appearance. I need not have worried!! His stand in (I think his name is Tim) was fantastic in the part of Fagin as were all the members of the cast. A brilliant show, one I will definately be going to see again (when I can get tickets). Worth every penny spent.

BRILLIANT!!

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish!! I took my 13 year old son to see this show on Wed 11 Feb (2.30pm show) and we both loved it. This is the first show he has seen in London and he was amazed at the sets, costumes, etc. The star of the show for me was Rowan Atkinson as Fagin - he played the part brilliantly and had the audience captivated. This was my son's christmas present so I really wanted it to be special and it was! Would recommend this show to anyone - you won't be disappointed.

WOW 6 STAR

wow!! this show was fantatstic. The production was great from start to finish. We were sat up in the balcony howver this do not spoil anypart of the evening. The whole cast are fantastic but Rowan Atkinson brings the part of Fagin into his own.His personal adaptation of the role was humurous and gripping.Jodie was a very beleivable Nancy and could belt out an emotional song or two.One of the best shows ever seen.

AMAZED...

I have never really been to such a production as this one. i have always loved musicals... and we decided as a fammily to go just to see how it was. i was not familiar witht the story, but quickly fell in love thanks to the fantastic actors! alothough Rowin Atkinson was not at the showing i went to, i was dumb struck. i couldnt take my eyes off it for one minute.

MORE PLEASE !

My wife and I travelled to London specically to se the show 04/04/09, and were not disapponted, it is beyond words,it is spectacular beyond description, one is left speechless from the sheer wonderment of the sets, and how they change before your eyes, to the cast who give everything to the performance, Jodies version of'as long as he needs me' makes the hair stand up it is truly wonderfull, the role of Fagin was by the understudy Tim Laurenti who was brilliant and probably better than Mr Atkinson so I heard from several people who were on their return visits, I cannort recommend it enough and plan to visit it again myself, its the the third must see in London after the Palace and the Tower.

WONDERFUL SHOW

Went on 11 April when unfortunately Rowan Atkinson was indisposed due to his operation but had no need to worry as Tim Laurenti was excellent as Fagin. Jodie singing 'as long as he needs me' was an experience not to be missed. The whole cast and production was fantastic.

MARVELLOUS

I had no need to fear a replacement in the form of Russ Abbott who was fabulous - with a dimension of his own... all the cast were brilliant, especially Dodger, Fagin and Spinks. I would have liked to sit nearer as to be honest it was a struggle to see detail in the balcony!! but the atmosphere, cast and sets were terrific and I shall remember it for quite a while.
